It is a rich excavation site for fossils of Ice Age animals that were unlucky enough to get caught in tar pits. Hollywood Walk of Fame
This famous attraction covers 18 blocks of sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. This monument commemorates those who contributed to the entertainment industry in the areas of film, television, audio recording, radio, and theater. Bronze stars embedded in the sidewalk bear the names of those who have reached greatness. So far there are over 2,400 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
