The IFDM 2010 will be hosted by the California Department of Industrial Relations and the California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation in association with the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions.
The California Department of Industrial Relations was established to improve working conditions for California's wage earners and to advance opportunities for profitable employment in California.
The California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation , a joint labor-management body created by the workers' compensation reform legislation of 1993, is charged with overseeing the health and safety and workers' compensation systems in California and recommending administrative and/or legislative modifications to improve their operation.
The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions is a not-for-profit trade association representing government agencies charged with the administration of workers' compensation systems throughout the United States, Canada, and other nations and territories. The IAIABC's mission is to advance the administration of workers' compensation systems throughout the world through education, research and information sharing.
